What is Sodium Bentonite?
Sodium bentonite is a purified, natural mineralized clay containing montmorillonite, formed as a result of the chemical weathering of volcanic ash and lava deposits rich in aluminum and magnesium. When sodium bentonite reacts with water, the clay particles separate and attract the water to their negative side and hold it magnetically.
