Mining Management
We extract our sodium bentonite minerals using open-pit mining methods from our licensed mines. The raw ores then are directly delivered to our processing plant.
Our sodium bentonite mines, which are the building blocks of our portfolio, have a total reserve of 5.000.000 tonnes spread over our 4 licensed sites totaling to 4.000 hectares in Çankırı province. The high-quality bentonites extracted and processed by our company, albeit rare in the region, have been tested and proven for use in casting, drilling, cosmetics industries, and particularly cat litter.
To meet today's needs without jeopardizing the future, we focus on sustainable mining and, we carry out our mining operations with our expert staff in all our mining sites with a view to offer our country’s underground wealth for the benefit of humanity.
Processing And Activation
Built on 50.000 m² with approx. 7.000 m² indoor space in Çankırı Yakınkent Organized Industrial Zone, located at a distance of about 75 Km from Ankara, our factory is about 8 Km away from our mine.
The sodium bentonites processed by our company are offered to consumers as a finished product and to industries as a semi-finished product. To increase our annual processing capacity of currently 70.000 tonnes, we have launched new investments in the region for the construction of additional factory spaces that will increase our current plant area to 10.000 m².
In our high-tech factory we crush, dry, grind,size and activate the sodium bentonite to enchance its performance. Our inhouse R&D department ensures the development of the best products for the required specifications and maintains quality through conducting tests and anaylsis relentlessly.
Packaging and Shipping
In order to further reduce dust, activated and processed products are transported to our packaging and storage site on conveyor belts. Our products can be packed in different sizes. For finished cat litter products we have the capability to fill between 4-20 Kg or L packs. We also have big bags available for both intermediate and finished products in 500 Kg, 1.000 Kg and 1.200 Kg’s.
The finished products are stored indoors in high-bay warehouses with a storage capacity of 2.000 tonnes on our factory premises.
We can deliver our products EXW or ship them to the desired location.
